Evidence-based MH treatments for youth   June, Wednesday 26.

This one-day symposium focuses on evidence-based mental health treatments for children and adolescents. The program will combine presentation of evidence-based interventions with illustration of their implementation. Expert faculty for this special program will be John R. Weisz, PhD, ABPP, Professor, Department of Psychology, Harvard University and Professor, Harvard Medical School. Dr. Weisz will cover a variety of diagnoses and evidence-based interventions for each as well as approaches effective with multi-problem youth. The content of the program may benefit a spectrum of professionals: providers, administrators and others working in mental health services settings; faculty, evaluation professionals, and others in schools, colleges and universities, and other settings educating and training youth and young adults; law, policy and advocacy professionals working to improve mental health services systems; and others.
